The RDA Board decided at its meeting yesterday that the RDA Group Travel Expo 2022 will be held as planned on April 26th + 27th, 2022 in Hall 9 of Koelnmesse. The leading trade fair for coach and group tourism, which has been the central meeting point for the industry every year since 1975, will again be held as a face-to-face event.
200 international exhibitors from 12 European countries and 1,000 trade visitors from Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Austria and Switzerland are expected to attend. The thematic focus is the new start of coach and group tourism after the Corona pandemic.
"It's time for the Corona pandemic to end and for the business routine to return to the companies. If you look at the unexpectedly significant relaxations of the COVID-19 regulations by our European neighbours, it seems like we might also experience these relaxations sooner than most people currently suspect.
All coach and group tour operators should prepare for this moment by targeted tourism purchasing at the RDA Group Travel Expo in Cologne. By doing so, they will be in a position to respond successfully to a surge in demand for coach and group travel both this year and in the coming year," said RDA President Esser after the meeting.
