We are confident that the RDA Group Travel Expo 2021 will take place in Cologne.
The RDA Workshop 2020 in Cologne was the first specialist tourism event in Germany after the lockdown. Following the positive response, the upcoming event will be held in a similar format.
Of course, we are still in close contact with Koelnmesse and the responsible authorities and are making every effort to ensure that our assessment of the situation is always realistic. In order to avoid additional costs, we will pass on further information to our exhibitors and visitors in a timely manner.
According to current regulations:
The number of participants at the event is limited and depends on the ongoing official risk assessment and the pandemic course.
Every participant has to wear a mouth and nose protection during the stay in the exhibition hall - except at the seat. A minimum distance of 1.50 m to other persons must be maintained.
To minimize the risk of infection with COVID-19, it is important to keep the physical contact as low as possible. This includes for example a contactless greeting. The passing on
of advertising and information material must be digital if possible. Tables and chairs must be disinfected after each visitor.
Free day tickets can be requested via the online ticket store only. Due to the current situation, there will not be a box office. Please note that due to the limited number of participants, only buyers from bus companies, tour operators and self-organizing travel agencies can be admitted to the trade fair as trade visitors. Tickets will be sent via e-mail after verification by RDA Expo GmbH.
This is regulatet by section 4.1.1 of our General Terms and Exhibition Conditions:
"4.1.1 The exhibitor is entitled to withdraw free of charge if he cannot and/or cannot reasonably be expected to participate due to regulatory and/or official decrees and/or conditions, such as entry and exit bans, quarantine conditions, transport bans, etc."
This is regulatet by seciton 10 of our General Terms and Exhibition Conditions:
"10.1 Any claim to the agreed stand rent shall cease to apply in the event that RDA Expo GmbH is not or only under difficult conditions able to hold the respective RDA GTE due to a situation that is not its or the exhibitor‘s responsibility (e.g. natural disasters, pandemics/epidemics and/or associated official prohibitions/conditions/restrictions, war, consequences of war, terrorist attacks, corresponding threats, imminent or apparently imminent danger and associated precautionary or defensive measures etc.). However, RDA Expo GmbH may invoice the exhibitor for the costs of works that have been commissioned, unless the exhibitor can provide evidence that the works rendered are not of interest to him."
The uniform corner stand 15 m² is equipped as follows:
- white dividing walls
- fascia board with company name
- electric socket (e.g. for laptop)
- 2 tables, 4 chairs
- blue carpet
- 1 m² cabin with curtain behind the stand
- max. 2 personalised exhibitor tickets
- entry incl. logo in online exhibitor directory
- personalised e-mail signature
- one co-exhibitor possible (separate registration required)
To comply with the distance rules, a uniform stand was developed that meets the official requirements. Modifications to the stand, the furniture provided and individual stand construction are not permitted,
i.e. as an example, tables may not be moved due to the minimum distance as an example. No additional furniture, such as rollups, may be placed on the accessible area of the stand. In the shop of RDA Expo GmbH digital prints including assembly can be ordered. Your own posters and graphics can also be placed on the wall elements. Each stand also has a 1 m² cabin for storage during the exhibition period.
Currently it is not certain to what extent open stand areas or a coach exhibition can be realized within the framework of the hygiene concept. If you are interested in booking an open stand area or a coach exhibition space, please contact us.
Due to the applicable regulations, the serving of food and drinks at the stand is not permitted. On-site catering will be provided.

The distribution of advertising material and magazines is only permitted on exhibitor stands or directly in front of them. Distribution in the entrance area, foyer and aisles is not permitted.
Parking is free of charge for all participants during the entire RDA Group Travel Expo. Parking spaces are available in car park P21.
At the RDA Group Travel Expo Cologne, Wi-Fi is available free of charge for all participants. You will receive detailed information about the log-in on site. Please note that the Wi-Fi is designed for the occasional checking of e-mails etc. If you as exhibitor need a permanent internet connection to present something to your customers, we advise you to book an additional internet connection.
Koelnmesse Ausstellungen GmbH reserves the right to make use of its householder's rights to carry out bag checks during the entire event for the safety of the participants.
The first aid station on the exhibition grounds is manned by a paramedic during RDA Group Travel Expo opening hours.
