Berlin, Berlin, we're going to Berlin

Every year, countless events ensure many unforgettable experiences and full stands in the Olympiastadion Berlin.

In the past, these included the 2006 World Cup final, the 2009 World Athletics Championships with two world records by Usain Bolt, the Pope's visit in 2011 and many concerts by U2, Coldplay, Helene Fischer or Rammstein, among others.

The Olympiastadium Berlin, built by the National Socialists between 1934 and 1936, is not only a pulsating arena but also a historical monument. Since its reopening, after reconstruction in 2004, the 5-star stadium has been open to visitors from all over the world for guided tours and visits. The stadium and the nearby Olympic Park can be explored on your own or visited on various guided tours. Every year, around 300,000 tourists and visitors to Berlin take the opportunity to see the Olympiastadion Berlin.

From November to March, the stadium in Berlin's Westend district is open from 10:00 to 16:00, April to October from 09:00 to 19:00. Visits are possible at any time on days when there are no matches or events for an entrance fee. Tickets and souvenirs are available at the visitor centre at the East Gate. Those who want to dive deeper into the matter can take advantage of one of the various guided tours and be led by an expert guide through the wide round and into the interior of the stadium.

The one-hour "Highlight Tour" leads into the VIP areas, players' cabins, the underground warm-up hall and provides information on the history as well as the architecture of the stadium. The "Premium Tour", which is twice as long, also includes the Olympic Park and thus provides additional information on events in sport and culture and on the architecture of the former "Reichssportfeld".
Group tours can also be booked, for which individual times and the desired focus can be arranged. The 90-minute tours are offered on the topics of architecture, history, sports, general and Hertha BSC. In autumn and winter, light experience tours in the evening are very popular. They show the unique LED lighting system of the Olympiastadion Berlin as well as the computer-controlled roof lighting. All tours offer special discounts for school classes.

You can visit the Olympiastadion Berlin at the RDA Group Travel Expo 2023 in Cologne at stand B16.
