Sustainability is important for 57 percent of the German population, if it comes to traveling. This is the result of the report FUR ReiseAnalyse 2019. Main tenor: "My holidays should be as social responsible, resource-preserving and/or eco-friendly as possible." But only 23 percent confirmed that sustainability - among other aspects - plays a role within the planning of their trip. For only 4 percent, sustainability is key to the decision between otherwise equivalent offers. This shows that the gap between a sustainable attitude and a sustainable behaviour during the holidays is still large.
