At RDA GTE 2026 in Cologne, SERVICE-REISEN will present new thematic focuses and innovative travel ideas. With the introduction of two new product lines and a new programme theme, the company is responding to changing expectations in the group travel market and setting targeted impulses for contemporary programme development.
With the new product line “ideen für MORGEN“ SERVICE-REISEN addresses a modern, travel-enthusiastic generation aged around 50 and above. The product line “ideen für ECHTE EINBLICKE“ deliberately focuses on a close connection to the destination. Authentic encounters, strong regional roots and personal experiences take centre stage. The new programme thema “ideen für GROSSE REISEN“ deliberately takes travel to a larger scale – in terms of time, distance and thematic depth. These are extended round trips of seven days or more that do not merely present regions selectively, but make them tangible in their broader context.
SERVICE-REISEN will also present its major main catalogue “ideenBUCH 2027 – Inspiration pur“, a new cruise catalogue as well as its in-house trade fair newspaper featuring attractive offers and special conditions.
Group travel is evolving – both in terms of guests’ expectations and in the way journeys are designed and communicated. The new product lines and themed worlds from SERVICE-REISEN respond to this development and bring together newly developed travel ideas that reflect current trends while addressing different target groups in a focused way.
Daniel Kuhn, Director Product & Purchasing at the SERVICE-REISEN Group, explains the background to this development:
“Today, group travel is defined more by content and travel experiences than by traditional programme structures. This trend has been clearly shaping demand for some time. Our new product lines are a consistent response to this. They provide tour operators with a thematic framework that enables them to address different types of guests in a targeted manner. Both lines follow the same objective: to further develop group travel in a clear, credible and attractive way.”
Each product line and each programme theme has its own profile and a distinctive character. Together they open up new perspectives on content, dramaturgy and communication in group travel. In addition, SERVICE-REISEN plans to introduce further concepts later this year, which will further deepen and expand the portfolio.”
