In the Advisory Council of RDA Expo GmbH, Dr. Uwe Lorenz, Managing Director of Eberhardt Travel, succeeds Manfred Schürmann, Managing Partner of HVB Wiest + Schürmann Hechinger Verkehrsbetriebsgesellschaft mbH, who did not run for the chairmanship after more than 20 years.
Manfred Schürmann had been responsible for the fate of the Advisory Council since 1998 and made a significant contribution to the further development and digitalization of the RDA trade fairs in Friedrichshafen and Cologne. Dr. Uwe Lorenz was unanimously elected at the meeting of the Advisory Council on November 12, 2019 in Stuttgart. The new Chairman of the Advisory Council thanked his predecessor for his many years of voluntary commitment and his successful and far-sighted leadership.
